With myZyp, you can create a short, simple and meaningful tag for any address or
location – whether it is a common four-line address or a ‘GPS unfriendly’
location that requires lengthy directions and latitude/longitude
information.
Once your tag is created, just share it with family and friends – they
now have a quick and easy way to find your tagged location. All they have to do
is enter the tag into the myZyp app or website. myZyp will automatically
retrieve all address related information, including any special instructions,
and prompt their default GPS-mapping app, such as Google Maps, to provide
precise directions to their destination.
Best of all, the myzyp tag is yours for life! If you move or relocate, you can
update the address and location information. No more searching for the correct
address. No more explaining how to get to your home (or campsite in the woods).
No more getting lost!
How to create a Tag in 3 Simple Steps
STEP ONE
Name Your myZyp tag, and provide a short description
Your tags can contain letters and/or numbers, and be as personal (or cryptic) as you prefer.
Once you save your tag, it is yours. No one else can own this tag, unless you delete it.
&6105551212, &DMET84
and &JoesFoodTruck are examples of all valid tags.
STEP TWO
Locate your tag on the map
Find your location on the map, and click on it. If you are using a GPS enabled device, your current location will automatically be selected.
Your myZyp tag is now ready for use. Save it and Share it!
STEP THREE
Add more details about your location
POSTAL ADDRESS
If your location is better identified by a postal address, ignore the map, and just type in your address. myZyp will automatically find your location on the map.
ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS
You can also type in additional directions, visual cues, and landmarks to help find and describe the location or event associated with the tag.
EXPIRATION DATE
You can even set an expiration date on the tag - this is ideal for temporary locations or events.
